Math Mystery Week

Okay here is what I want you to do;

1) Find a group of 4 students in your class and get together and see if you can come up with a solution to this mystery math problem.

2) Have someone in the group be the script writer to write down the answer to what your group has come up with. Make sure everyone's name is on this or you won't be able to recieve credit

3) Figure out the "solution" to this math problem: 1, 4, 7, 10...

1) What do you think the next number is going to be? Why?
2) How did you come up with the next number?
3) What is the Pattern to this solution?

4) After you have come up with the solution we will present it in front of the class so you will need to find a spokesperson to be able to explain the answer and how you came up with it!

Have fun and make this a fun and learning project in your group make sure that everyone particpates to be able to receive the credit.
